Job announcement: Wichita State University

February 21, 2014

The Wichita State University Educational Psychology program is anticipating an immediate need for a Visiting Professor (open rank) of Educational Psychology.   This position would begin in Fall 2014.

The Visiting Professor would teach three courses per semester (human development, social psychology, and another course to be determined).  Courses can be online, hybrid, or face to face.  Other duties may include academic advising, thesis advising, and other service as needed.

If all goes well, a regular search for a tenure track professor (rank to be determined) will begin in late Fall of 2014. The Visiting Professor would be eligible to apply for the tenure track position, once the search has started.

If you or someone you know might be interested, please let them know about this opportunity.  They can contact me (kate.bohn@wichita.edu 316-978-5107), the program chair (marlene.schommer-aikins@wichita.edu 316-978-6386), or the department chair (jean.patterson@wichita.edu 316-978-3325).

Sincerely,

Kate Bohn

Associate Professor, Educational Psychology
