Position Title: Assistant Professor of Psychology (Developmental Psychology)
Required Qualifications and Education:
A Ph.D. is required, with all requirements for the degree completed by Fall 2015. We seek candidates with research experience and teaching interests in developmental psychology. Candidates’ background and accomplishments should provide concrete evidence that they will be excellent teachers, researchers and colleagues. In addition to specialized expertise and the skills necessary to mentor students, all candidates should have the background necessary to teach Introductory Psychology and Research Methods. Candidates should have research interests that can involve undergraduates.

Campus: The Psychology Department (www.gvsu.edu/psychology) at GVSU is research-engaged and student-focused. There is excellent laboratory, computer, and library support. Psychology offices and laboratories are located on the Allendale campus, in a suburb of Grand Rapids, with additional laboratory facilities in downtown Grand Rapids. GVSU enrolls 25,000 students.
