I hope your summer is off to a good start! I’m hoping you might be able to help me track down one or more good candidates to help provide sabbatical coverage for me this coming academic year. This is potentially a great opportunity for a recent PhD or even someone who is ABD, who is interested in ultimately doing psychophysiological research at a primarily undergraduate institution. It’s a 1-year, full-time position (instructor or assistant professor, depending on PhD status). The emphasis is on teaching duties, but the individual also will have the opportunity to help direct my research team. We have an NSF-funded 64-channel Brain Vision (actiCHamp) system and three Biopac BSL systems. I will be remaining in Memphis during my sabbatical (some at CBU), but I will also be doing quite a bit of work down the street at the University of Memphis.
Please feel free to pass this along to anyone you think might be interested. I’ll be happy to answer any questions to the extent I’m able, and to forward other questions on to those who hopefully can answer them.
