The Society for Text & Discourse is proud to announce its Twenty-third Annual Meeting to be held in Valencia, Spain, Tuesday through Thursday, July 16-18, 2013.

The Society for Text & Discourse is an international society of researchers who investigate all aspects of text and discourse including processing and analysis. The purpose of the Society is to foster and promote excellence in research, to enhance communication among researchers in different disciplines, and to contribute to the education and professional development of those in the field or entering the field.

We invite students and scholars from various disciplines (e.g., psychology, linguistics, computer-mediated communication, neuroscience, learning sciences, language sciences, and others) to attend and participate in the 2013 Annual Meeting.

Valencia is a city on the Mediterranean coast, which brings together an extensive array of historic and artistic heritage, with the most modern leisure attractions and avant-garde settings.
